More Or Less?

Updated: Nov 21, 2019

When it comes to making a change in your life, it is obvious that you will be up against habits that you have formed over the years that impede you in your new direction. It's crazy to think that one day they are there, and the next they are not. If you walk around thinking that the things that have been a part of your way of being for so long can no longer affect you, it is just a matter of time before they come creeping back in.

By acknowledging the things that you are up against you can gain control over them. In fact the more you know about them, and the way that they affect you, the less power those things will have over your future. We all have these blocks and deal with the consequences of them daily. Weather it is food, thought, or action related these habits can be broken. Take time to journal your goals, and include the things that work against you. Define those things as accurately as you can so you can see in detail how they control your impulses. The more you know, the more you grow!

As human beings often do we measure our success on our goals by weather we can keep from failing, or not. The reality is that we should measure or progress towards our goals by weather we fail less, and less, or are we failing more and more? As I have said numerous times, failing is a part of becoming successful. Just Fail forward, and fail less. practicing this principal can train you to overcome whatever connection you have to the habit that you are letting go of. The first time you do this will be harder then the second, and the second harder than the third. as you practice this regularly it will get easier and easier to accomplish.

Once you break the chains that hold you back you can use this same process to set goals that exist outside of necessity and in a realm where your creativity can start to define for you a life only limited by imagination. By defining your result, and becoming aware of what is working against that outcome you can build a plan that gets you closer, and closer to accomplishing whatever you set your mind to.

Don't let the lack of a result decide for you what you are capable of. Instead let it motivate you to try more, and try harder to overcome whatever is holding you back.

I have faith in you.
