It gets really easy to go with the flow in this life. If you are exactly where, and how you want to be in life, Awesome!!! If not, my advice is to throw that idea out the window now!
Changing your direction no matter the goal puts you in the path of resistance. It is that resistance that will shape you into the person that earns, and can maintain the difference that you desire. One of the best things you can encounter is resistance, and it is only natural to be at your weakest when you make a change.
The inability to stick to a new plan is all part of the journey. To expect that you will set a goal for change and never falter is ridiculous. And if you are one of those people who can, congratulations. For the rest of the 99% of us, fail less and less each day until failure is a memory of the past.
When you reach that point set a new goal, and fail again until you are a champion of your failures.
Remember, no matter what you face the important thing is to keep moving forward. Do not shy from the resistance against you. Conquer it!
